Los – Worth the Wait Mixtape Review
When Baltimore rapper Los pushed back the release date of his anticipated mixtape, The Crown Aint’ Safe, many fans were left disappointed. Los, not one to disappoint, dropped Worth The Wait to fill up the time. Worth The Wait had 16 tracks, mostly remixes, and showcased Los’ lyrical talent. He doesn’t just kill these beats, he annihilates them. I’m going to do a mini-review of a few of my favorite songs from the tape.
1.) Worth The Wait (Intro) Prod by S Dot Fire
A raw way to start up the mixtape. He only gives you a sneak peek of his lyrical skills.
2.) I’m On One (Remix)
“I hope the crown ain’t safe, give you a creepy feeling
Cause you look up to me and hate me, I’m like a leaky ceiling” Los showcases all of his skills here. He goes off, period.
3.) Moment for Life (Freestyle)
This song would be cold enough if it was written, let alone off the top. He shows off his patented “Pattern Rapping” in this song. In the last verse, listen and you’ll understand.
4.) Look at Me Now (Freestyle)
This song gets me hype as hell. “Cause I spit like a nigga with a lisp and an overbite” Damn.
Those are a few of my favorite songs on this mixtape. Los is one of the coldest rappers alive. Plus, he just signed a deal with Diddy, so look at for his tracks in the future.
